Whether you're 6 months old or in your 6th decade of life, we have a swim lesson program to teach you everything from basic water safety to competitive strokes.

The YMCA offers two levels of parent/child lessons for infants and toddlers and six levels of youth instruction. Each level has specific goals for participants to master.

The YMCA of Cumberland offers swimming lessons for all ages and stages. Our progressive swim lessons teach swimming skills, stroke technique and water safety while encouraging a lifelong love of the water. Private and semi-private lessons are also available.
