*Contestants should arrive 30 minutes before their matches are scheduled to start.

Each two hour time slot will consist of no more than six teams rotating across three courts. It is a Round-Robin format where all teams in each grouping will play each other (teams in full groupings will play five matches each). There will be no waiting, except for the difference between how long one match lasts over another, or if a grouping contains an odd number of teams. Otherwise, all teams will be playing at 'all times'.

Each match will consist of one game to 15 (win by two) - where only the serving team can score points.

The rankings will be based on Matches won with tie-breakers determined by:
  1. Total points scored.
  2. Head to head results.
If there is still time (20 minutes or more) we will have championship matches to determine 1st & 2nd, 3rd & 4th, and 5th & 6th. Medals will awarded for 1st place finishers in each grouping. Ribbons will be awarded for 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each grouping.

Contestants will score their own games. In the event, two teams cannot come to an agreement about the proper call - the tournament director or sanctioned assistant may be consulted, at which point their ruling will be final. (This includes replaying the point.) In the unusual event that the contention is so sharp the players do not feel they can continue, a limited number of referees will be available to oversee such matches.

The rules of play will be according to what is set forth in the 2022 USA Pickleball Officiating Handbook.  And a copy (printed or electronic) will be available for reference purposes.
