Nationwide Membership
Nationwide membership enables you to visit any participating YMCA in the United States through your membership at your home YMCA. This benefit is offered to help you reach your health and wellness goals wherever your work, live, or travel. This is an essential part of our mission to strengthen communities.
What You Need To Know
- Nationwide Membership is valid for active, full-facility YMCA members whose home Y (the local association where you pay your membership dues) participates without restriction or blackout periods.
- At least 50% of Nationwide member’s visits must be at their home Y.
- Nationwide members under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their eligible Nationwide membership parent.
- Visit YMCA.org before you travel to ensure the Y you intend to visit participates in Nationwide Membership. More than 2,500 Y locations participate.
- Nationwide members are not permitted to bring guests or visitors.
- When visiting a Y, Nationwide members will be required to show a valid YMCA membership card and photo ID as well as provide basic membership data such as name and email address.
- Members will need to respond to a waiver via email or sign a paper copy upon their first visit.
- Visiting members may participate in programs at the non-member rate.
- All YMCA’s reserve the right to restrict or revoke these privileges at any time.
- All Nationwide database members are subject to regular/automated Sex Offender screenings. Registered sex offenders are prohibited from using YMCA facilities.
