Volleyball Instrctor

Description:
Program Development & Management:
- Plan and lead engaging volleyball practices and clinics for participants of varying skill levels
- Teach fundamental skills including serving, passing, setting, and game strategy
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all participants
- Encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal development
- Set up and take down equipment before and after sessions
- Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and YMCA staff
- Monitor attendance and provide feedback on participant progress
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ensure collaboration with marketing team for program
- Represent the YMCA and maintain appropriate relationships with area organizations, community leaders and businesses.
- Carry out special projects and other duties as
- Support and participate in all aspects of the youth development experience as well as the Association’s strategic goal
Requirements:
- Previous experience playing and/or coaching volleyball
- Experience working with youth
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to motivate and engage participants of all skill levels
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
