Join Cumberland YMCA's Inaugural Dragons on the Lake Festival

What is Dragons on the Lake? Dragon boat racing provides you and your team members with a unique team-building experience. Teams are comprised of 20 paddlers, 1 drummer and a boatload of fun! The boats are 46-feet long and will go as fast as you can paddle, so get your team together and make sure you don't miss out on the fun!
When is the festival? Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Rocky Gap State Park, Flintstone, MD. Festival activities begin at 10:00am
What happens at the Inaugural Dragons on the Lake Festival? It’s a full day of FUN!! Invite your fans to come watch you and other paddlers give it their all to get to the finish line as quickly as possible. Festivities will start at 10:00am on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Multiple boat races will occur and vendors will be on sight with tasty treats.
Where do the proceeds go? The funds support the work of the Cumberland YMCA and stay in our community. Every day, in Cumberland the Y supports kids, adults, seniors and families with programs that protect, teach, connect, heal, nourish and encourage. Everything the Y does helps empower our community and the “us” who live in them to thrive. The Cumberland YMCA is a 501c3 non-profit. Donations are fully tax deductible.
