YMCA Spiritual Development
The YMCA Spiritual Development Group was established in 2015 to restore the "C" to our YMCA. The group works closely with local clergy and staff to lead those in faith to God through Jesus Christ. With the purpose of building strong character and healthy relationships within our membership, spiritual development can fill an important void.
This 75 minute class focuses on strengthening the spirit. When the spirit is strong the desire to live life to the fullest is also strong. This strength allows men and women to be the best "me" they can be! All ages of men and women and all denominations are welcome.
Tuesdays 5:00 - 6:15 pm in the Riverside Y Conference Room
Open to members and program members with no fee
Instructor: Eva Lowery-Gordon

Words to Encourage Email
Every Monday morning, Y staff (and those who request it) receive an emailed devotion written by encourager and author Susan Mason to encourage and uplift your week. Starting the week with words of truth and focused on what is good keeps our Y staff and members on solid ground and in one accord.
To request your words of encouragement, please contact Susan Mason:
Remembering the Sabbath and keeping it holy adds great benefit to our lives therefore our YMCA offers the opportunity to pump up your faith through the gathering of staff, members and friends. In this laid back setting, (come pre or post workout) everyone can experience the presence of love through live worship music, scripture lessons, prayer and fellowship.
Sunday mornings 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Y-Church will be held in the outdoor pavilion during the summer months and in the arena classroom during the winter months.
Members and program members welcome.

Flowing over every water fountain within the Riverside Y and Downtown Y is living water. Verses of truth are posted to encourage, strengthen and challenge our spirit. Our Y was founded on the focus of strengthening mind, body and spirit quoting John 17:21 as "The Y Verse"
