Dear Parent(s),
Welcome to the 2008 YMCA Summer Competitive Swim
League Thank you, in advance for taking your time to promote and help develop competitive
swimming in our area. The summer league is sponsored by the YMCA as a means of
exposing local children to the wonderful world of aquatics and to ultimately
find new talent for our winter swim team, The Sea Otters.
Children who are interested in continuing to swim
after the summer season is over should be encouraged to consider our winter
team in September. All ability levels are welcome. Every child will participate
in meets if they desire to do so. Whether the child’s interest is recreation, exercise
or competition, there CUY Sea Otters Swim Team is the team for you!
NEW THIS SUMMER, YMCA
FEES & MEET FEES ARE COMBINED!!!
Non-YMCA Members $32.00- includes YMCA Fee & preliminary meet registration.
YMCA Members-$16.00- includes preliminary meet registration. If you do not
attend a preliminary meet you will not be reimbursed. The fees go to help pay
for concessions, ribbons, medals, trophies for the league. All swimmers will
receive a participation medal and a summer league sports bag at the Championship
Meet. Championship registration will remain the same as years prior. Make
checks payable to the CUY Sea Otters.
