Learn how to effectively prevent and respond to water emergencies with this American Red Cross lifeguard training.
This course is designed to arm you with the skills and knowledge to prepare you for a variety of scenarios in and around the water. With this lifeguard training, you will learn how quick response times and effective preparation are vital to being a lifeguard while also understanding the crucial elements in helping to prevent drownings and injuries.
Participants who successfully complete the Lifeguarding course receive an American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED, valid for 2 years.

Prerequisites
Participants must pass a pre-course swimming skills test that will be held on the first day of the course. Participants must be at least 15 years of age by the last class.

Blended Learning Course
Blended learning combines online learning with in-person skills sessions where you will practice skills and demonstrate competency. Please plan to complete all eLearning modules, including the CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid final eLarning exam. Most participants complete the eLearning portion of the course in approximately 7 hours
