Fall/Winter Youth Sports
This class is just what your preschooler needs to be introduced to the enjoyment of the game of soccer. Fundamentals of soccer will be stressed as well as basic game play. There will be focus on safety, sportsmanship and conditioning. Parents also will be involved to learn coaching skills as well as encouragement procedures from the sidelines. This class will be held in the field house and is open to children aged 3-5. Classes will start Monday, January 30, 2012 and will be 8 weeks long. Registration is now open, so sign your child up now to guarantee a spot in the class.

An instructional clinic for children that want to develop their skills and prepare for the competitive world of youth sports. The class will focus on conditioning, ball handling, passing, shooting with an instructional goalkeeping section. Participants will be placed in the groups of U-8, U-10 and U-12. This class will be held in the field house and is open to children aged 6 to 12. Classes will start Tuesday, January 31, 2012 and will be 8 weeks long. Registration is now open, so sign your child up now to guarantee a spot in the class.

JR Perdew Pitching Clinic
Your child will enjoy an hour of training in pitching provided by Chicago White Sox pitching coach JR Perdew. The clinic will include a rotation through stations focusing on different techniques as well as individualized attention in problem areas.
Ages 6 - 17 years old
Saturdays or Sundays from 6PM - 9PM at the Baltimore Ave YMCA.
Clinic dates are February 04, 11 and 12, 2012.
$45 per 1 hour session. Spaces are limited so get your child registered now. Registration ends Friday, February 3 but if sessions fill up will close earlier.

Returning this February, Kids Gym! This new class format will be enjoyable and safe for everyone! Class will be run as a drop in program for YMCA members only. The first fifteen YMCA members will be allowed to participate in the class. Parents may drop off their children as long as they remain in the building.
