Group Reservations

Event planning can sometimes be stressful. Come to the Y and we will make sure this is not the case. A Y hosted event will provide a quality experience for you and your guests. Our staff will manage the party for you so that you can sit back and enjoy the excitement, take pictures, and not worry about a thing.

 
Birthday Parties
Our Basic Party Package includes:
  • One Hour of an Event/Activity
  • One Hour Party Room Rental
  • Host/Hostess for the duration of the party
 
Fees: $75.00 per hour for up to 25 children (for each additional 25 children add a $10.00 fee per hour)
*A $50.00 deposit is required at the time of booking for any party/rental. This is then subtracted from the remaining balance of the rental.
 
The Y does not provide any food, paper products, or decorations. Patrons are permitted to bring these items if they wish.
Activity Choices include: Moon Bounce, Climbing Wall, and Swimming Pool
*A Rental Waiver must be signed by a parent/guardian for any participant under 18 years of age wanting to use the facility, or Climbing Wall.
Party times: 
Friday: 4:00pm to 8:00pm  
Saturday: 12:00pm to 7:00pm  
Sunday: 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
*Parties may be booked at other times based on space availability

Overnighters                       (7pm to 7am)
Our Basic Package Includes:
  • Two Hour Rental of the Pool and Climbing Wall
  • Party Room Rental for the Night
  • Host/Hostess for the duration of the Overnighter
 
Fees: $20.00 per person with a minimum of 25 people.
*A $100.00 deposit is required at the time of booking for any overnighter. This will then be subtracted from the total owed for the rental.
For groups of 75+ please call about discounted prices.
 **Chaperones are required - A minimum of 1 for a group under 25 and 2 for a group over 25.
 
 
All events must be paid in full at least 1 week prior to the reserved date. Patrons paying with check must do so at least 2 weeks in advance of the rental.
The Y will accept Cash, Check, Discover, Visa, and Master Cards.

Outdoor Camping   (based on venue availability)
The Outdoor Camping area consists of a fenced-in camping area with a sheltered pavilion and picnic tables. The camping area is located within a mile of the Terminus of the C&O Canal and the beginning of the Great Alleghany Passage. 
 
Our Camping package includes access to:
  • Indoor shower facilities
  • Indoor restrooms
  • Vending Machines 
*Patrons will only have access to these amenities during Y business hours.
Riverside YMCA Hours of Operation:
Monday- Friday: 5:00am-10:00pm
Saturday: 7:00am-9:00pm 
Sunday: 9:00am-6:00pm
 
Outdoor Camping Fee per Night: 
$10.00 Adults 
$5.00 Children 
*FREE to Y Members & AWAY Y Members
Camping reservation can be made in advance or at the time of arrival.
Patrons are encouraged to call ahead and check availability of the camping area.
